Join me for a few days of Wild Flowers, good food, and fabulous surroundings.  Châteauneuf-la-Fôret can be found in the heart of the Limousin (now the Nouvelle Aquitaine). The area is surrounded by forests of pine and spruce and pastures bursting with an array of Wild Flowers and Hedgerow plants.

During your stay you will have the opportunity to take walks in the surrounding countryside observing and identifying various wild plants and flowers, you will forage and collect a number of flowers, learn about their medicinal benefits and make your own infused oils; and use your harvests to make various remedies, creams, bakes and crafts. Wander around the lake in Chateauneuf and delight at the selection of wild flowers allowed to flourish here, enjoy a picnic lunch and a paddle (optional) in the lake. Your visit will consist of lovely walks, informative talks and plenty of practice and fun making your own crafty products and preparations.

This is just a selection of the activities on offer. The cost of the Creative Wildcrafting retreat is 480 euros per person, your stay includes full board (breakfast, lunch and dinner) in a twin room with shared bathroom.  This does not include the cost of travel to France. The nearest airport is Limoges – East Midlands, Bristol, Manchester and Stansted fly to Limoges and we would be happy to collect you from the airport, or you may wish to hire a car and drive yourself to the venue. Or maybe add to your adventure by taking the train from Limoges through the countryside to Eymoutiers (15 minutes away), where we can collect you and bring you to our home in Châteauneuf-la-Fôret. Travel details can be advised at the time of booking, based on where you are flying from. I can always put you in contact with fellow attendees should you wish to travel together and/or share costs.
