Chemistry - A one-day course for Aromatherapists
An interactive day looking at how the basic building blocks come together to form the natural chemical components of an essential oil. We will look at the different constituent groups and their benefits, and based on these there will be practical blending sessions utilising the components for therapeutic effect.

Aromatic Support for Headaches and Migraine
This one day course looks at the various types of headaches and migraine that affect different people. Discussing what triggers these debilitating conditions, we will look at practical ways of addressing a treatment approach with the use of therapeutic essential oil blends, a massage routine and self-help techniques. A mix of theory along with practical treatment methods.

Aromatherapeutic Treatments for Respiratory Conditions
An informative day designed for therapists working in a clinical setting or those with a genuine interest in helping their clients with respiratory complaints. We start by looking at the various types of conditions that affect ventilation, followed by a discussion of the different chemical groups of essential oils most suited to the various complaint.
Practical blending and treatments will be demonstrated and practiced to suit different client groups.

Tranquil Facials
A practical day learning a facial routine that is both relaxing and therapeutic, using wonderfully aromatic essential oils to calm and treat skin conditions whilst easing stress and tension in the head and neck. Specific movements will be taught to help rejuvenate and revive tired skin. Combined with delightfully organic Aromatherapy skincare to leave the client feeling pampered.

Skin Disorders and Wound Management
A fascinating day aimed at the aromatherapist who wants to learn more about skin disorders, or for those working in a health care environment. This intensive one day course starts by looking at the skin and understanding its anatomy and functions. Students discuss the factors that affect the skin before learning about common skin conditions and disorders that they may come across. Both conventional and aromatic approaches will be considered. We later look at various types of wounds from cuts and abrasions to more serious skin breakdown and how we can manage them safely and within our boundaries, with suitable essential oils and aromatherapy products. Case study scenarios will be discussed as a group and the various approaches that can utilised.

Make & Create Workshop - 10am - 2pm, £50, enquire about dates and venues.
Spend a few hours learning how to make your own bespoke soaps, scrubs, bath melts, lotions and bathing products for yourself or your family as fabulous home-made gifts. A recipe leaflet is provided and all products you make you take away with you. Great for Christmas presents and Mothers Day gift ideas.
Perfume Making Workshop - 10am - 2pm, £50, enquire about dates and venues.
A wonderfully aromatic day spent learning about the history of perfume, how to recognise perfume families and notes. You will have the opportunity to create your own unique perfume using essential oils based on this knowledge, and incorporate your fragrance into a roll on perfume and a perfume solid to take away with you. Other methods of utilising your fragrance will also be discussed.
